David Foakes Consulting is focused on providing publishing solutions in the Printing, Paper and Graphics Arts industries to publishers and consumers of printed media in a practical, timely, cost effective and professional manner.

The range of services offered may start with simple benchmarking tasks through identifying best practices and cost structures to full advice and support to launch a new product. The key objective is to work with the client to identify the level of support required and offer advice and solutions in a cost effective manner to support their publishing decisions.

I am a specialist in printing and paper techniques with production and management experience gained at major international and national printing groups. Strengths include an in depth knowledge of working with publishers and purchasing including contract negotiations at all levels having been responsible for the management and strategy of EMAP Plc’s production and paper purchasing organisation.
